Sentence of Transportation against John Cameron' confirming the sentence of seven years transportation to Van Diemen's Land for theft and a previous conviction; a May 1852 printed 'Clearance Permit' completed in manuscript and issued at Launceston confirming that a Convict who had completed his sentence was permitted to leave the Colony on a ship to Melbourne; July 1854 entire letter to Hampton, the Comptroller General of Convicts in Van Diemen's Land regarding a convict, William Burgess, transported for seven years for larceny, who had inherited considerable property in England.
