About Us

Carter's Publications have been publishing price guides on art antiquities, antiques, collectables, retro, vintage and 20th century design for 28 years, and include prices on items from 1500 BC to the present day, with a price range of $5 to over one million dollars.

Our last printed price guides were produced in 2010 and from that year we moved to digital publishing on the internet. Our online version of the price guide with over 90,000 items offers approximately 10 times as many items as included in one of our printed price guides.

To keep the online price guide current and relevant, we are constantly adding fresh items, and removing the older items.

In addition, this online version of Carter's Price Guides to Antiques and Collectables is now fully indexed to enable you to quickly locate the type of items you are seeking prices on.

All antiques and collectables in this database include a professionally photographed image, and have been sourced from dealers and auctioneers in Australia and New Zealand.

You can search by category/subcategory or searched keyword with the facility to further refine your search, making it easy to drill down to the item you're seeking.

Remember that this site is a price guide and not an online marketplace for antiques and collectables. The items included will have been photographed from several months to several years prior to publication on this site.

As such, all items pictured on the site have been sold. To source newly stocked items for sale please visit our gallery site, AntiquesPlus.
