New Zealand Medal, reverse dated 1860 to 1861. (G North, Captn F Top, HMS Iris) Longley records that 10 RN officers and 49 ratings, and 1 Royal Marine office and 12 NCO and men. Total of 72, received a medal with these dates. Recorded by Douglas-Morris (NM). A party from the ship landed and was engaged in action at Pukekakeriki in October 1860.
