A rare Plichta porcelain cat with green glass eyes painted with blue cornflowers a white ground with traditional green glass eyes, green underglaze mark to the base 'Plichta London England, inscribed 'Nekola Pinxt' 26 cm high. Other Notes: The Bovey Tracey Period relates to pieces made at the Bovey Pottery- Tracey factory, the cat in this lot is marked 'Nekola pinxt' for Joseph Nekola the son of the famous Wemyss ware painter Karel Nekola.
