A carved agate 'finger citron' washer, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, the hollowed fruit growing from a leafy branch carved in high relief extending towards two bats resting nearby, the stone with rich caramel suffusions overall, the underside incised with an apocryphal four-character seal mark of Yongzheng, wood box. 12 cm long.
