A very unusual Fukagawa-type bowl, Meiji period (1868-1912). Very finely painted with fruiting branches on the exterior in Kakiemon-style enamels, the interior with prunus petals floating on water, in cobalt blue and iron-red, 6.5 cm X13.3 cm. Provenance: R & V Tregaskis
