Sapphire and diamond ring, of cluster design centring an oval sapphire weighing 23.96 carats framed with twelve old European-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 6.00 carats, mounted in 18ct white gold, size N. Accompanied by GSL report numbered AA55537/1, dated 7 August 2015, stating that the 23.96 carat gemstone is natural, blue, of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating (NTE).

    In the gold industry, the purity of gold is measured in carats (abbreviated "ct"), with 24 karats being pure gold and lower carat numbers indicating a lower purity level. So, for example, 18 carat gold is 18/24 or 75% pure gold, and 12 carat gold is 12/24 or 50% pure gold.
