A Carlton Ware 'Floral Comets' vase, circa 1929, pattern 3387 with design attributed to Violet Elmer, with clusters of orange and purple toned flowers and bright ultramarine leaves to the upper body and base upon arcs of olive interspersed with dynamic zig zag explosions in plum and cream with gilt highlights throughout on a mottled autumnal matte glaze, russet toned to the interior; backstamp underside with pattern number. Height 20 cm
