A French enamel and silver gilt pill box, early 20th century. Well decorated with a continuous landscape and to the lid the figure of a daintily attired 18th century maiden admiring a bird in the hand released from a birdcage, in muted blue, pink and soft green tones, the mounts and interior gilt washed (small repairs). Height 2.5 cm. Diameter 5 cm
