A fine Chinese silver tankard. Qing Dynasty, probably early 19th century, of characteristic tankard form with exceptional modelling to the body depicting a continuous battle scene with myriad figures and horses within an auspicious landscape setting, having a finely cast and modelled dragon handle; the body with an applied shield bearing four characters otherwise unmarked. Silver weight 141gr. Height 9 cm
