A Chinese porcelain ink stone in the Qing manner, of compressed barrel form with a pierced top for brushes, and decorated in a predominantly iron red and green palette with a continuous scene of children at play in a landscape setting, between lingzhi mushroom and patterned borders; with underglaze Jiaqing marks underside; on a metal stand. Height 10 cm. Diameter 18.5 cm. (ink stone only)
