Cooper World War I Trio Medals - Red Baron Related Richthoffen's co-pilot Lieutenant Simon shot down Cooper and his observer Lieutenant Boldison while flying a Bristol fighter. Both became prisoners of war and were reported to have been visited personally Richthoffen and Simon whilst being interred.
