A Satsuma Dragonware large bowl, the interior decorated in enamels and gilt with Buddhist Rakan and a dragon in a landscape flanked by pavilions, the exterior decorated with two dragons and the Shimazu mon, marked under the base 'Dai Nihon, Satsuma Chokuzan (Potter)' and artist's mark. Diameter 245. Small old rim frit.
