A jade 'Lotus' bowl, Qing Dynasty, 19th century with rounded sides supported on four bracket feet, delicately carved in low relief on the exterior with lotus flowers and leaves rising from the base and with a pair of birds in flight, the interior with a bat carrying a stem bearing a large lotus leaf and flower, the opaque cream coloured stone with brownish suffusions and darker markings, wood stand (2), 12 cm
