A pair of Japanese Satsuma vases, early Showa period, c1930, the pair of medium sized hexagonal baluster vases with waisted necks and rolled rims, each decorated in raised enamels and gilt upon a matte brown ground with diapered pattern ground to, the collar, with, the bust of the female deity Kannon and six attendants to, the body, the collar with shimazu crests and raised on a small flared foot, each stamped with characters underside. Height 30.5 cm
