sterling silver George III ink stand, by Rebecca Emes & Richard Barnard London 1810. Having a moat style pen well moulded into the flat base with shell motif corners, gadrooned edging and four tapered feet. Mounted to the base are two fitted receptacles for the two cut glass ink pots which have silver mounts that are separated by a candle holder and conical chained snuff.
