Silvereye (Zosterops lateralis) were self-introduced to Aotearoa in the 1800s and now have a wide distribution throughout New Zealand. The Maori name tauhou translate to 'Stranger' or more literally, 'New arrival'. Photograph 40.9 x 30.3 cm, board 51 x 40.5 cm. Provenance from the collection of John Perry
