A large Japanese bronze koro of Fukurokuju seated on a stag, Meiji period the finely cast and black-patinated bronze koro of the god of wisdom and longevity Fukurokuju seated on a black stag, with his long beard and bald elongated head, wearing long flowing robes and holding a reishi sceptre in his left hand, the koro in two parts pinned by his staff, all raised on a tree trunk slice base, illegible label to the underside, possibly by Koichi Saku.H 61 cm, L: 65 cm, W: 48 cm
