A vintage large format hand-coloured White's Aviation photo 'Mount Maunganui', c1960's, signed and entitled in white, labelled on reverse. 54.5 x 100 cm. Note: Whites Aviation Ltd was established in 1945 by Leo White (1906-1967). With vast pioneering experience in aerial photography Leo served as a photographer with the RNZAF during World War II. During the early 1950s he covered New Zealand by air, taking photographs for 'Whites Pictorial Reference of New Zealand'.
