Early hunting boomerang, Central Australia, Northern Territory. Carved hardwood and natural pigments. Classic hunting boomerang, the front decorated with finely fluted design, finely adzed on the reverse, coated with red ochre, fine dark patina. Approx length 72 x 6 cm.
