Literature: 'The Noble Game of Cricket: Illustrated and Described From Pictures, Drawings and Prints In The Collection of Sir Jeremiah Colman Bt' [London, 1941], a large quarto book containing a hundred reproductions, some coloured, of famous cricket paintings and prints, many being of considerable significance. Limited edition of 150, of which only 100 were offered for sale. Signed by Clifford Bax, who wrote the introduction, and with a dedication to the present vendor from Tony Baer, a well known benefactor of the MCC Museum; light foxing throughout. Seldom offered.
