The Beatles: a rare and important collection of financial documents, relating to the daily management of the Beatles and Apple records. A wide-ranging collection, the vendor being Secretary to the Financial controller at Apple records in the late 1960's, the bulk of the collection comprising of monthly expense sheets for each of the individual band members, six for John Lennon, three each for Paul McCartney and George Harrison and one for Richard Starkey (Ringo Starr), all dating to 1969, also included are;, six royalty statements, all dating to 1969 and referencing such classics as 'Something in the way she moves', a Subafilms limited Shareholder statement, a facsimile copy with handwritten notes of instruments and equipment for a concert at Twickenham used for the purpose of an insurance valuation, a list of cars owned by Apple Corps Ltd and the individual band members from the period, an Apple Records Policies and Procedures manual, the vendor's personal diary from their time at Apple, with entries referencing the daily management of Apple and the Beatles, an Apple Scruffs monthly book from October 1970, an Apple Christmas card, and other loose paraphernalia.
