Rare early elegant boomerang club, Darling River Region, New South Wales. Carved and adzed hardwood. Boomerang club with characteristic fine tooling, from the Darling River region of New South Wales. With their elegant forms and beautiful light-reflecting surfaces, these were fighting weapons used by men in battles, rather than for hunting purposes, length 66 x 20 cm.
