World War II Posters, 2, 'Blackout Outside, Plenty of Light Inside with Philips Lamps.' Second World War poster produced by Phillips Electrical Industries Pty Ltd advertising Phillips lamps. The text only poster uses colour to symbolise the effects of light and dark. On the left side of the poster, set jutting out of the rectangular edge, the title text appears in a palette shaped graphic of opposing dark/light colours. The rest of the text is centred in the other half of the poster in white, yellow and black set against a red background.
