Diamond and gem-set brooch, modelled as a butterfly, the wings pierced and variously set with old-cut, mixed old-cut and rose-cut diamonds and embellished with cushion-cut sapphires and rubies, the thorax set with diamonds, the eyes and antennae with rubies and rose-cut diamonds, mounted in silver on 10ct gold, the diamonds together weighing approximately 5.16 carats, approximately 46 x 40 mm, one diamond deficient.
