Transport' (sent from troopship) and 'Railhead P.O.', one an illustrated 'Mosque' Air Letter with Kgvi 3d blue tied British 'Field Post Office / 43' cds, couple of telegrams, 1945 hand-illustrated envelope from Lae, New Guinea enclosing 'Christmas Greetings from the Pacific' card, 'Identity Card' x2 one with 'Beechworth [ ]/VIC' postmark, service record photographs, also exercise book 'diary' with hand-written observations of life in Egypt, ration cards for 'Meat' (partial) & 'Clothing' (complete), Shepparton (Vic) 'Public Celebration to Welcome Home ...' World War II Forces program, guides to Sydney & Brisbane for soldiers on leave (issued by Ymca and Acf respectively), 1944 'Salt' magazine with article on the book 'Such is Life' by his relative, newspaper cuttings, etc, etc, condition quite mixed. Also includes copy of typed biography compiled by his grand-daughter. Fascinating first-hand historical material.
