A Dan mask, Liberia. Carved from wood the mask is a large oval shape with a high brow and pointed chin. The mask has pouting lips and small circular eyes. Around the eyes is a red textile applique that is nailed to the mask form. Length 23.5 cm, width 11.5 cm, depth 6.5 cm
