Crown Lynn Potteries, unique hand-potted 'Louie Dean' vase, white glazed ceramic, printed 'Hand Potted' and tiki factory marks, inscribed in gold 'Louie Dean' and impressed no. 1951 to the base, height 16.5 cm, note: this vase appears to be a personalised gift to Louie Dean. There are no Cl shapes recorded in the 1900s, therefore '1951' likely refers to the year it was made. Moreover, this shape doesn't match up with any known hand-potted vase shapes, therefore it appears to be unique and lathed in the style of Ernest Shufflebotham.
