Two early Chinese textile fragments, Han Dynasty (202 B.C. - 220 A.D.) and Liao Dynasty (916-1125), the Han dynasty silk fragment embroidered on fine silk ground with a mythical bird. The Liao Dynasty silk garment fragment embroidered with a depictions of clouds, and a pair of cranes. Each framed and glazed. The Han fragment with frame 38 cm high, 49 cm wide. The Liao fragment 42 cm high, 48 cm wide.
