A pre-European Maori toki pounamu (greenstone adze), reduced tapered haft with distinctive short, flared shoulders to the flat blade with near parallel sides, chip to blade edge, dark green tone with pale/orange/brown inclusions, in good polish. Length 17.5 cm, width 6.5 cm. Registered Y21151. Must be a registered collector to purchase.
