The Australian Team in England - 1921, An original real photo postcard of the Australian Touring Party, signed in pen by all 16 players and officials, attractively mounted together with details of the team. Signatories include Armstrong (Captain), Bardsley, Ryder, Gregory, Mayne, Mailey, Carter & Oldfield. Framed and glazed, overall 33 x 29.5 cm. Australia won the 5 match Ashes Series, 3-0. For Australia, McDonald was the outstanding bowler, taking 27 Test wickets, Macartney top-scored with 115. Mead top-scored for England, with 182 n.o., while Parkin was the best of the bowlers, with 16 wickets. Astonishingly, England employed 14 different bowlers during the Test Series.
