A Japanese Fukagawa vase, Taisho period, 1912-1936, decorated in underglazed blue and underglazed enamels with a bird on a fruiting branch. Mountain and stream mark in underglaze blue to base. 22 cm high, 12 cm diameter. Exhibited: 'The Japanese aesthetic', ceramics and glass circle of Australia, 2006/2007.
