A sapphire and diamond antique ring. 18ct yellow gold, hallmarked to inner shank Birmingham, presented as a low profile half hoop style ring, featuring a central oval sapphire of approximately 2.00ct, deep blue in colour, set in a fine tooth claw setting flanked to each shoulder with six old cut diamonds in a triangular arrangement, totalling approximately 0.30ct, merging to a smooth band.
