Thornycroft tin plate live steam racing pond boat. This tin plate live steam racing launch model is extremely rare, built and raced by the famous marine engineer a. Thornycroft. This model won the 1932 speed championship series at the popular Engineer?s park at Ashfield at a best lap speed of 36 mph! the model is in its original condition and the boiler and engine have been fully restored by Ross style. Approx size, 110 cm in length, 25 cm wide and 20 cm deep, not including stand.
