An Australian cameo brooch with portrait of Julius Caesar mounted in a fine 15ct gold mount, 19th century, housed in a James McBean & Son, Melbourne plush fitted box, 4.5 cm high Provenance: The Nicol family (nee Flora McFarlane). The Nicol family ran the James Nicol & Sons Produce Store Armstrong Street Ballarat in the 19th century.
