1930 Phar Lap's 34th Race - 1930 Melbourne Cup: 'Cup Day, Victoria Racing Club, Spring Meeting, 1930, Official Programme' (Tuesday 4th November), showing Phar Lap in the Melbourne Cup (first). Superb condition, window mounted with superb original photograph of Phar Lap, archivally framed, overall 57 x 40 cm. (34 Starts. 22-2-2. Phar Lap is still the only horse to start odds-on in the Melbourne Cup. In an incredible feat, he won on all four days of the Spring Carnival). (We are not sure the photograph is original.)
