Australian Colonial yellow gold mourning brooch with a applied grape, leaf and vine border and spinning base metal locket frame. In a original box marked Flavelle Bros, and a penned date of 31st July 1863. The dove of peace is missing its head. Approx brooch size 45 mm x 53 mm. Border tests as 18ct
