A Chinese Qianlong blue and white phoenix jardiniere, Qianlong period (1735-1796), the large porcelain jardiniere decorated to the sides with two pairs of phoenix dancing on garden rocks amongst peonies above a lower border of stylised waves, and an upper diaper pattern border. Unglazed base., 32 cm high, 37.5 cm diameter.
