Michael Cardew (UK) large and impressive oval dish, hand painted design (three fish) in green and brown on dark oatmeal ground, unglazed rim, underglaze scarification. the reverse painted with large potter's initials mark within a double circle. Professional restoration. Thought to be a demonstration piece from the potters visit here in 1968, length 48 cm.
