Doreen Blumhardt (1914-2009) 'Heaven-Man -Earth' a significant sculptural installation, the three sculpted stoneware elements raised on stoneware lozenge sections with relief South Coast Wellington rock impressions, speckled brown glaze highlights. The tallest section 140 cm. Note: Dame Blumhardt was a pioneer of art education and the founder of the Blumhardt Foundation, set up to foster art in New Zealand. Her collection is housed at the Dowse Art Museum
