18ct gold fob watch, chain and sovereign case, the full hunter stem wind pocket watch with a movement signed S Smith & Son the Strand, the case marked JW London 1886. The fetter link fob chain is marked 18ct EC with touch marks. the sovereign case is marked JW, 18ct 1891. Both the watch and case are monogrammed and engraved with a lion rampant holding a crown. Approx fob chain length 44 cm and weight 42 grams, watch dial 42 mm diameter and watch weight 142 grams, sovereign case diameter 30 mm and weight 22.8 grams, total weight
