A large famille verte plate, Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period. This shallow shaped dish depicts a scene with a single long-tailed bird and two small birds perched on a rocky outcrop in a blossoMing garden. Four panels radiate out from the center and feature various blossoming trees and flowers, possibly referencing the four seasons. The base is decorated with sprays of flowers. With a leaf seal, surrounded by a double circle. The intermediate plate has a large crack which has been repaired, height 6 cm, depth 350 mm
