A kotiate paraoa (whalebone hand club), the spatula blade with uncommon notch design to the sides, where each quadrant overlaps the opposing lobe with the pattern reversed on the opposite side, the handle with simple butt knob, pierced and with a two-ply muka loop with affixed log tufts of dog hair, length 30.5 cm.
