The following 23 lots of rugs and carpets are from the estate of Dr Donald Stenhouse (1936 - 2018) who pursued an interest in collecting hand woven tribal flat-weaves and hand-knotted carpets of Central Asia., A Turkish Shirvan rug, hand knotted wool pile, decorated with five various shaped conjoined medallions surrounded by scattered geometric motifs and rosettes, framed by a geometric border. (With certificate). 350 x 175 cm.
