A rare Pink and White Terraces silica coated teapot, thick textured coating. height 14.5 cm. Provenance: Ex. the Oparau Museum (near Kawhia) where it was on display for many years with the associated note: 'This is a... teapot from the Tarawera Eruption 1886'. It was purchased by a Rotorua historian upon the museum closing.
