A Chinese silver rose bowl on a carved wooden stand plain body decorated in relief with a mythical dragon, engraved 'To Sgt. Boorman from the Foreign staff wayside Police station 10.5.27'. Wayside Police station was one of the fourteen police stations operating in Shanghai between 1845 -1943. Height 12 cm, diameter 18.5 cm.
