A Chinese iron red and Fencai bowl Jiaqing period, early 19th century, decorated to the interior with the sanduo (finger citron, pomegranate and peach) between three bats, in fencai/famille rose enamels., the exterior decorated with frolicking Buddhists lions in iron red, with gilt foliate rim., the base with a four character minyao Jiaqing mark in iron red, 5.5 cm high, 18 cm diameter. Provenance: Purchased from Sotheby's Australia, 5/5/88, lot 278.
