A Chinese glass cup and flower form snuff dish Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century, the white carved glass cup with a gently flaring mouth, with a silver mount to the foot, together with a flower form white moulded and carved glass dish, the larger 6 cm high, 9.5 cm diameter. Provenance: The cup purchased from Paul Nugent fine Art, Melbourne, 1981.

  • Qing Dynasty - The Qing Dynasty was the last imperial dynasty of China, ruling from 1644 to 1912. It was established by the Manchu people, who originated from the northeastern region of China. The Qing Dynasty was preceded by the Ming Dynasty and followed by the Republic of China.
