Australia v. England First Test Match, Brisbane December 1936 Large format original photograph 46 x 72.5 cm depicting 'Gubby' Allen bowling to Stan McCabe with Les Ames as wicket keeper. Framed and glazed overall 64 x 89 cm. England won the Test Match by 322 runs. Despite Fingleton scoring 100 in Australia's first innings, the rest of the team only managed another 134 runs; the second innings collapse was even more dramatic at 9 for 58! For England, Voce took 10 wickets for the match and Allen took 8.
