Clarrie Grimmett Flicker Books: No.4 'Leg Break Delivery and Leg Break Finger Spin' and No.5 'Googly Delivery and off Break Finger Spin' both complete and in fair condition; accompanied by a small pocket-knife with Grimmett's monogrammed initials 'Cvg'. All 3 items gifted to the Museum. Clarence 'Clarrie' Grimmett (1891 - 1980) although born in New Zealand, played most of his cricket in Australia. He is thought by many to be one of the finest early spin bowlers, and usually credited as the developer of the flipper. He represented Australia in 37 Test matches.
